Some of the most important elements of a quilt can be the background fillers and abstract outlines. These allow the colors and shapes to stand out and bring a quilt to life. With this Flexible Fillers and Creative Couching class, you will learn all about these fillers to really make your quilt stand out!

Claudia will teach you an array of background fillers for use in abstract outlined areas of your quilt. These fillers will then be divided and defined using couching techniques with colorful yarns, wools and other fibers. Students will work through various textures, stripes, feathers (Pfun Pfeiling Pfeathers), and geometric motifs that will add an opulent touch to the class sample.
