You will visit Stone Age settlements, learn about the famous tribes of Galway and hear fantastic stories of the river Corrib which flows through the city. This will be a leisurely walk for those who would like to stretch their legs amidst spectacular scenery while exploring the archaeology, geology, and history of this fascinating area. Participants will be met at the Quilting Village by our experienced walking guides who will take you on a tour of the nearby area and share their love of the country with you. Our groups will be small and friendly, so you can have the chance to get an intimate sense of your surroundings. This is an opportunity for you to truly relax and discover one of the most beautiful areas in Europe. Bring a light waterproof jacket and/or an umbrella - it is Ireland after all!
